Yeah.I don't think its right that the Seahawks, who are 7-9, should get into the playoffs with such a crappy record just because their division sucks. Seatle is the first sub-500 division champ in league history. Our Bucs are 10-6. Though the NY Giants are ahead of us for a playoff spot, I would rather see a team that could be more of a competitor playing.
I mean when you think about it, if the Seahawks won their division with like a 5-11 record, they would still get into the playoffs just because they won their sucky division. I don't think so.
In my opinion, it should be the division winner with the best record for the first two playoff spots then go by record of wins for the rest. Until they do this the playoffs will remain broken. Just imagine all of the awesome games we have been deprived of, watching sub-par competition.
